My Essential Handbags for Fall

I’m starting to come to the realization that I am obsessed with all things accessories; they can do so much for an outfit and they can take my sophistication to the next level. What I love most, is that they are one size fits all. You’ll almost never have to say “this purse doesn’t fit anymore, it’s too big/small!” No matter how you change or grow, accessories (handbags to be exact) will always fit. And as you evolve as a person, you can rock it with a different level of confidence as the years go by!

Well, the Fall is here! We can now pull out our sweaters, cardigans, and booties. As I put away my shorts, tanks, and fanny packs, I’m also choosing my 5 go-to handbags, clutches, and totes that I'll use for the season. To make sure I have the utmost diversity I try to have a crossbody, tote, clutches (2 this year), and a travel bag that I’ll hopefully be able to use (fingers crossed).

1 Crossbody, 2 Clutches, 1 Hobo, and a Travel Bag

Crossbody: A shopper essential for hands free shopping! I had this made in South Korea. A shop owner in the town I lived in had a ton of patches that he allowed me to purchase and have sewn on. I was beyond excited when I seen the result; he didn’t let me down! The fringes allow me to add sassiness and the patches add creativity. The best thing about it, nobody else on the planet has this creation!

Clutches: I have only one luxury brand clutch bag. This is one that I got from my mother, she probably wants it back (haha!). I’ve not made it to the point in life where I can purchase luxury handbags, nor am I in any rush. Because like this vintage Italian Leather croc skin clutch, I can find them at thrift stores for 1/100th of the price. A clutch purse is perfect for formal evening events. They are small in size, but their textures and patterns can make them bigger than any tote you’ll ever have.

Hobo Handbag: In love with this hobo style bag I fell, almost immediately. It had lots of room in it and came with a small zip cosmetic bag. The brand, Antik Kraft, has a foundation of style, affordability, and good quality. And, if I must say so myself, there really are no better qualities for an everyday bag.

Travel Tote: I’ve never believed that luggage and travel bags need to be bulky; we can travel in style, and we should. “Live, Love, Travel” is what it says. It’s the message it sends for me! I felt like with those words the bag was speaking to me. I remember viewing it through the window for a couple of weeks. My Husband knew how much I’d admired it by the reaction I had when I first saw it, He bought it for me. I’m crossing my fingers and wishing that I’m able to use it this season!
